is a visual artist based on the unceded ancestral territories of the Coast Salish people, also known as Vancouver.

 

  • Nature is both a healer and casualty of humanity. Nika Vaughan paints intuitively, taking inspiration from her surroundings and what emerges as she paints. Working from life, her own references, or with found objects, Vaughan explores expressions of nature and their inherent ephemerality.
